Relief Center, operating within the framework of Taqat Company for Trading and Business Solutions, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Knowledge for Sustainability Solutions on 25 November 2025. The partnership aims to strengthen institutional capacity building in humanitarian and development work through specialized training pathways grounded in applied knowledge and contextual analysis, and delivered in line with recognized quality standards.
This partnership responds to the growing need to move beyond short-term, ad hoc training toward systematic, institutional capacity-building models capable of enhancing organizational readiness, operational efficiency, and the sustainability of humanitarian interventions. The framework seeks to organize cooperation between the two parties in ways that support professional development of humanitarian personnel, improve institutional practices, and align training efforts with governance, quality, and accountability requirements. The collaboration focuses on the design and delivery of specialized training programs in areas relevant to humanitarian and development action, including humanitarian analysis, knowledge management, governance, risk management, performance and impact measurement, and institutional sustainability. These programs are delivered through standardized training frameworks that ensure consistency of content, quality of delivery, and measurability, while enabling continuous learning and improvement.
Within this partnership, Relief Center contributes its role as an integrated humanitarian ecosystem supporting data-driven monitoring, contextual analysis, applied knowledge production, humanitarian coordination, capacity building, and social interaction. This role strengthens the linkage between training content and real operational needs and contexts, helping translate knowledge into practical institutional application. Relief Center’s contribution remains non-executive, focusing on coordination, integration, and enabling humanitarian actors through appropriate tools and methodologies.
On the other hand, Knowledge for Sustainability Solutions is a specialized provider of institutional capacity building and professional training, as well as advisory services in governance, knowledge management, and sustainability, delivered in accordance with certified quality standards. The company develops training programs and knowledge-based solutions designed to enhance organizational performance, strengthen institutional readiness, and ensure sustainable impact.
Building on the alignment of roles and strategic visions, this partnership is expected to enhance the quality of capacity-building practices within the humanitarian and development sector. By supporting the development of skilled and institutionally grounded human resources, the collaboration aims to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of humanitarian responses and generate lasting institutional impact over the medium and long term.
