We aim to strengthen the institutional and operational capacities of local organizations and empower individuals and communities to respond effectively to disasters through a structured and flexible training program that integrates international standards, local knowledge, and practical field tools. Our program includes 26 training tracks, and all courses listed below are based on experiential learning and are delivered either in person or online.
Developing Humanitarian Management and Leadership Skills
This program aims to empower staff members of local organizations in the Global South by enhancing their management and leadership capacities, enabling them to lead their teams and projects more effectively within humanitarian contexts. The training focuses on transformational leadership, managing multicultural teams, decision-making under uncertainty, effective humanitarian communication, internal conflict management, and strategic planning for humanitarian organizations.
Artificial Intelligence for Humanitarian Workers
This training program provides a comprehensive framework enabling local organizations in developing countries (the Global South) to understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies can enhance humanitarian work - especially in contexts with limited technical and human resources. The program explores how AI can be applied in humanitarian data analysis, needs mapping, disaster and risk prediction, and evidence-based decision-making.
Humanitarian Project Management
This training program provides a practical framework designed to empower staff working in local organizations to effectively manage humanitarian projects - from needs assessment and proposal design to implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and ensuring accountability to both beneficiaries and donors. The program is based on the Project Cycle Management (PCM) principles, which are widely used in development and humanitarian work.
Dealing with Stress and Anxiety During Infectious Disease Outbreaks
The program provides comprehensive training that combines theoretical and practical aspects, addressing practical techniques for managing stress and anxiety in individuals and teams, as well as methods for delivering initial psychological support during crises and emergencies. Emergency Health Care in Insecure Environments
This training program aims to strengthen the capacities of healthcare and field personnel in local organizations, enabling them to deliver effective and safe health services in environments affected by conflict, natural disasters, or humanitarian crises. The program places special emphasis on empowering local organizations - such as community medical associations, relief teams, and regional hospitals - to ensure their ability to respond effectively to health emergencies.
